Kent Harrison Search & Rescue

This 26′ Landing Craft Cabin – San Juan was built for the Kent Harrison Search & Rescue located East of Vancouver, BC. They originally formed in 1976 and rely on grants and donations to provide their services. Their mission statement: ‘Kent Harrison Search and Rescue, as a registered non-profit society, delivers a professional-quality search and rescue service to the community by developing and maintaining resources to safely, efficiently and effectively resolve incidents outlined in the risk assessment of the area. We will conduct search and rescue missions when requested to do so by the authorized requesting agencies for lost or missing persons, or persons in distress in the province of BC without charge. Our goal is to save lives.’
This particular vessel was built to be a rescue boat in order to access remote lake shores of Lake Harrison. It is the largest lake in the southern Coast Mountains of Canada, being about 250 square kilometres (95 mi²) in area. This vessel will join their varied and specialized fleet of rescue vehicles.
We are proud to have built this boat and appreciate all that the KHSAR do! A special thanks to Ian and the entire team.
