27' CUDDY CABIN MODEL Q & A
GENERAL ALUMINUM BOAT Q & A
Q: Can I get a boat with or without power?
A: Yes. We provide a wide variety of power choices to suit your needs.
Q: What grade of aluminum do you use on hull plating?
A: 5086
Q: Typically aluminum boats are classified as cold and noisy – What do you do about
this?
A: We spend a lot of time sealing, insulating, using high density foam, engine room
dampening foam, foam fill under decks as well as inside hollow deck head
stiffeners. We also use new sound dampening panels on the bottoms, tanks,
bulkheads and hatches.
You can have a normal conversation at full throttle
with minimal engine noise or noise from the boat traveling through the water.
Boats with cabins are fully insulated and do not sweat.
Q: Are your boats unsinkable?
A: Yes. All our outboard powered boats are designed to float upright and level if
ever swamped or if the drain plug was left out.
Q: Can I get a larger fuel tank?
A: Absolutely. Where bulkheads and space allow room for larger fuel capacity.
Q: Can I get it with or without self bailing deck?
A: Yes, the boat comes in either configuration.
Q: How long have you been in business?
A: Since 1986.
Q: How many boats do you produce per year?
A: Depending on the size, about 70. We prefer to build a few high quality boats
than mass producing a high volume of boats, inferior in quality.
Q: How do I go about ordering a boat?
A: A simple credit card deposit of $2,000.00 will get you on our construction list
and one of our assistants will help set up a purchase of a once in a lifetime boat
for you!
Q: When can I get my boat?
A: Usually 4 – 6 months delivery time, however you may have to wait, depending
on size and our existing waiting list, usually no more than 8 months. January
and February orders generally don’t wait longer than August at the latest. You
can order now for next year too!

A: No, we handle deliveries anywhere and take care of all the necessary
paperwork; making insuring, registering and documenting your new boat a
breeze.

The

to prep the metal prior to painting. It’s a good tough finish and is easily
washed and easy to touch up too!
Hull paint, if ordered, is a polyurethane top
coat with several primers, sealers, high build primers and etch used on the
underside which produce a high gloss, tough, durable and attractive finish.
